There are many sites and programs all across the web that offer “points” for using their specific search engine, filling out surveys, taking polls, etc. The points you earn from these tasks can then be redeemed to earn actually prizes. It seems to good to be true, and 99% of the time it is.
One site I have found and you may have heard of,is Swagbucks. This seems to be the most legit out of all the various reward sites out there. Swagbucks features numerous different ways to rack up points toward items.
I almost feel like a kid at the local arcade, trying to save up for the best new thing out there.
The prizes on Swagbucks are actually decent too, there is everything from posters and notepads,to HD plasma TVs.
While I could go on forever on the pros and cons of Swagbucks,I will leave it up to you to decide if this site is for you.
One thing I will mention is that it takes quite a while to gain points,I have been using Swagbucks daily for 6 months and have earned close to 2,000 points.
In the end,if you use it right,Swagbucks could be a great investment in time.
Do you use Swagbucks or any services similar to it?
Recently I have started using Evernote to keep track of all my research information, school work, blogging, hold a to-do list, and much more. Personally I love the wonderful seamless sync across all platforms. For example, the notes I take on my computer will be ready for me as soon as I get on my Android smartphone, and vice versa.
Evernote is a great way to stay organized and have all of your documents there when you need it.
Below I made a list of some ways that you could use Evernote that might help you in day to day life.
I love using Evernote for blogging because I can keep and work on all my posts, instead of in a junked up blogging platform editing box.
If you blog a lot, then it wouldn’t surprise me at all if you have already taken advantage of Evernote’s great organization and seamless sync features.
We all are randomly graced with brilliant ideas every now and again, but sadly become distracted and forget them. With Evernote you can head to your computer or smartphone and jot down a quick note or a voice recording.
Evernote has helped save me from losing potential blog post ideas.
If you are a student in school,I honestly think you will have the biggest gain out of Evernote because face it,we need organization.
Its great to get in the habit of typing up all your school work on Evernote, then print it off. That way if you lose an assignment or need to revise it,you have it stored on Evernote ready to be fixed. Besides, who doesn’t love reading through your old 9th grade history reports,am I right?
This is very similar to blogging, but if you are writing a book it is great to keep all of your information in one centralized hub. Thats great if you like writing by hand, but what if that particular notebook gets lost, your in deep do do now.
I hope you enjoyed this list of everyday uses for Evernote. Of course there are many ways you could use Evernote, the possibilities are endless.
If you use Evernote, then what do you use it for the most?
